Plateau de Siou Blanc
Located in the towns of Solliès-Toucas, Belgentier, Beausset and Signes, the Siou-Blanc plateau is an honored place of walk and appreciated by walkers.
In a typical landscape of the rural Provence, you can enjoy the natural and cultural riches of this plateau through nine walking routes (by foot, by horseback or by bike). These paths are delineated and regularly maintained in order to be accessible to all walkers and athletes. Paths are located on sensitive natural areas of the Siou Blanc and the Four Brothers. The mountain is also known for such popular cavities cavers. You can discover in any season the fauna and flora and the old trade of the hill, such as colliers, Cade ovens and lime kilns. To fight against fire, the access to the plateau, the traffic and the parking are regulated from June 21st to September 30. Access from the Gapeau valley: in Solliès-Toucas, follow the direction of the “IME Les Morières”. Warning: there is no network for mobile phones in the plateau.
