Guided tour of Guiol’s oil mill
Take part in the guided tours of the mill's production area, tracing the different olive oil production processes from the origin of the mill to the present day, followed by a tasting.
Description
Since its creation in 1789, GUIOL’s oil mill has always been in business. Nine generations have been at the service of the olive tree and have proved their attachment to the land and their respect for family values. To ensure that the story does not end there, André GUIOL took over the mill in 2000, joined later on by his wife Cathy. In 2004, they gave the mill a new expansion by creating, in parallel to the traditional mill area, a modern production area equipped with a continuous chain. Conscious of the heritage they received, André and Cathy combine traditional knowledge with the modernity required by European standards, meeting today's quality and hygiene demands.
