Wash house of La Farlède
On the fountain (visible at the other end of the square) can be read this sentence: "It is forbidden to water any harnessed animal and to wash clothes, vegetables and any dishes at this small basin, 1847".
Description
The wash house was built in 1847. In 1907, it was given a protective vault and a waste water drain. In 1992, the washing place was moved. Nearby is the famous two-hundred-year-old umbrella pine sung by Marcel Laure, poet and teacher from La Farlède
